When it comes to New Year’s Eve Celebrations, Sydney is the premier of this spectacular. Everyone is welcome and entry is FREE. Put on by the City of Sydney, there are many vantage points around the Darling Harbour to bring in the New Year of 2010. Celebrations will start at 5.00pm and will continue to midnight with the Firework Spectacular lighting the night sky to signal the New Year. This year the Sydney Spirit is reflected in blue and everyone is asked to come dressed in a touch of blue. Pre-show entertainment and the family fireworks will be the prelude to the countdown to Midnight.
