<p>When it comes to New Year&#8217;s Eve Celebrations, Sydney is the premier of this spectacular.  Everyone is welcome and entry is FREE.  Put on by the City of Sydney, there are many vantage points around the Darling Harbour to bring in the New Year of 2010.  Celebrations will start at 5.00pm and will continue to midnight with the Firework Spectacular lighting the night sky to signal the New Year.  This year the Sydney Spirit is reflected in blue and everyone is asked to come dressed in a touch of blue.  Pre-show entertainment and the family fireworks will be the prelude to the countdown to Midnight.</p>

St Martins Place boasts Sydney&#8217;s largest Christmas Tree and a Christmas concert is held in November when the tree is decorated.</p>

<p><strong>CAROLS IN THE DOMAIN</strong> &#8211; Saturday 19th December 2009 12 noon &#8211; 11pm</p>
<p>The Domain, Art Gallery Road, Sydney</p>
<p>Childrens carnival commences at 12 noon, Channel 7 autograph stage opens at 3pm and the concert commences at 8.30pm.</p>
<p>This is a charity event raising money for The Salvation Army.  For those that can not make the event, Channel 7 broadcasts live so you can watch in the comfort of your own home.</p>

<p><strong>CHRISTMAS PROJECTIONS</strong> will again light up Sydney Town Hall and other buildings in Macquarie Street.  Twelve slides will be projected depicting the 12 days of a Sydney Christmas.  The projections will rotate every hour from 8.30pm-1.00am commencing 26th November 2009.</p>
